Responsible Gambling

Our Approach

Gambling should be entertainment that you pay for, in the way you would pay for a concert or a night out. It is not a way to earn money or to solve a financial problem. The casino is for adults only: 19+ in most provinces and 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. We give you tools to stay in control, and we ask you to use them before they are needed.

Signs That Play Is Getting Out of Hand

Take a pause if several of these sound familiar:

  • You bet more than you planned or stay longer than you meant to.
  • You chase losses by raising stakes or by depositing again straight away.
  • You borrow money, or use money meant for bills, rent or food, to play.
  • You hide the amount of time or money you spend from family and friends.
  • You feel irritable, anxious or low when you are not playing.

Tools in Your Profile

All tools sit under Gambling Limits in your profile and work on every device:

ToolWhat it doesWhen it applies
Deposit limitCaps what you can deposit per day, week or monthA new or lower limit applies at once; raising or removing it takes 24 hours
Session limitCaps the length of a gaming session in minutesApplies to your next session
Cooling-offBlocks play and deposits for a period you chooseTakes effect immediately; cancelling takes 24 hours
Self-exclusionLocks the account for a fixed period or indefinitelyConfirmed through a link sent by e-mail
HistoryLists transactions, bonuses, casino sessions and sports betsAlways available for a clear view of your spending

A deposit limit of zero blocks the account for six months, so use it only when you mean to.

Habits That Keep Play Healthy

  • Decide your budget before you deposit and stop when it is gone.
  • Set a time limit and take regular breaks away from the screen.
  • Never chase losses and never borrow to play.
  • Do not play when you are tired, upset or have been drinking.
  • Treat bonuses as extra play time, not as a target, and cancel one that pushes you to bet more.
  • Review your history now and then to see how your spending changes.

Self-Exclusion and Cooling-Off in Detail

A cooling-off period is a short break that you choose in advance. Self-exclusion is a longer step. You can start it from your profile, then confirm it using the link we send to your e-mail address within 24 hours. During the period you cannot log in, deposit or play. Ending a self-exclusion early is not possible, so choose the duration carefully.

Protecting Minors

Keep your login details private and never leave a signed-in device where a child can use it. Filtering software can block gambling sites on shared computers and phones, and the parental controls of your device and router help too. If you suspect that a minor has opened an account, tell us at once and we will act on it.
